Akureyri cruise port
Customer destination: Akureyri, North Iceland. Cruise-port authority: Port of Akureyri via DOKK. This is not Reykjavik, not Ísafjörður, and inland icons are not harbour berths.
Berths and anchorage
Official DOKK calendar rows list specific berths. Preserve them as written:
- Oddeyrarbryggja (including numbered variants such as Oddeyrarbryggja 12)
- Tangabryggja (including 11a / 11b variants)
- Torfunef
- Pollurinn (akkeri) — anchorage; treat as a tender call at row level
- Occasional other published berths (e.g. Krossanes) when the calendar lists them
Current public breakdown includes Tangabryggja 11a (151), Oddeyrarbryggja 12 (64), Torfunef (50), Tangabryggja 11b (14), Pollurinn (akkeri) (2), Krossanes 1a (1).
Akureyri has both docked and anchorage calls. We never assign the whole destination a single dock/tender status.
Excursion destinations are not ports
Lake Mývatn, Goðafoss, Húsavík, and Dettifoss are places you may visit on a shore excursion. They do not appear as Akureyri berths on the port calendar and must not be confused with the cruise harbour.
What the published table shows
294 published Akureyri calls across 2026 (153) and 2027 (141) — 292 docked and 2 Pollurinn/tender. Accepted 2028 calls exist in DOKK but public vessel names are redacted; those rows stay on hold here.
Getting into town
When alongside in Akureyri, the harbour sits close to the town centre. Anchorage calls at Pollurinn require tendering before that walk begins — use your ship’s published times and onboard instructions.
